This site is a design demonstration. The terms below describe the fiction politely and the reality accurately.

The fiction

Nocturne Perfumery, its founder, its fragrances, its address, its stockists, its press, and all prices and dates are invented. No products exist for sale and no orders can be placed. Any resemblance to a real perfumery is a coincidence the perfumer would find flattering.

The reality

The text, design, and code of this demonstration site are the work of their author, who retains all rights to them. You are welcome to view, quote, and link to the site. Reuse of substantial portions of the writing or code should ask first, and probably will be welcomed.

Forms

All forms are demonstrations. Nothing you enter is transmitted or stored beyond your own browser session. Please do not enter information you would not want a stranger to imagine reading, even though no stranger can read it.

Absence of warranty

The site is provided as-is, without warranty of merchantability or fitness for any purpose, including the purpose of smelling nice. It is a website. Websites cannot smell.
